In Loving Memory of Michael O’Brien

July 1, 1949 – September 25, 2026

Michael O’Brien, of Pound Ridge, New York and New York City, by way of Tipperary, Ireland, will be remembered with great love by his family, the Hope House community, his brothers and sisters throughout the Irish diaspora, and the many friends and colleagues whose lives he touched through the New York City construction and special event industries.

He is survived by his sons, Cormac, Ronan and Conall; their mother, Cathleen; his loving partner, Karen; and his grandsons, Pearse and Kian.

In lieu of flowers, Michael’s family has suggested that memorial donations be made to Hope House Ministries in his honor. A memorial or tribute gift is a meaningful way to honor someone who has made a lasting impact on your life.
