HOPE HOUSE STAINED GLASS

In April of 2020, Hope House Ministries launched a community wide initiative with the purpose of raising $2,000,000 in private dollars to create a sustainability fund, an operational reserve and mortgage payoff. Specifically, the Board of Directors is seeking 40 individuals and/or business entities to make lead gifts of $25,000.

We are asking our supporters to consider making a major gift toward our fundraising goal.  Whether it’s a one-time lead gift of $25,000, a five-year pledge of $25,000 or some other gift amount that works best for your budget, every dollar will move us closer to raising funds to secure the agency’s future.

To date we have raised $1,200,000 toward our goal of $2,000,000. This is the result of a matching lead gift of $250,000 from an anonymous donor in the community, 30 individuals and businesses at the $25,000 level and countless supporters at any number of different giving amounts.  Words cannot express our gratitude for your generosity!

Little did we know when we started our campaign that the world would be turned upside down due to the Covid-19 shutdown.  Like so many other non profits in America, Hope House Ministries was forced to cancel or postpone all of our events for 2020.  So far the shutdown has resulted in a $1.1 million dollar loss in annual revenue.

The fact that Divine Providence has guided the ministry all these years, and in spite of numerous economic downturns, is evidence of the fact that Hope House Ministries is truly a miracle.  Faith, hope and love are at the foundation of who we are as a community committed to healing those in need.

Still, our we have our work cut out for us as we continue to close the gap on our fundraising goal during the most challenging of times.

Representatives from Hope House Ministries are here to assist you in structuring a gift that makes sense for you. Gifts of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, qualified charitable distributions (ie IRAs) or estate planning may also be applied to this effort. Please call our Development Office to discuss options at 314-662-2877 or email hhmkeith@optonline.net.

The 2020 Trust in Providence Initiative comes at a critical time in the agency’s history. Now more than ever before, intentional planning and action is needed to secure the future of this important work. Given our mission and those we serve, lives are literally in the balance. Our many supporters believe in our mission and when called upon, we know they will do their part to ensure the future economic stability of the agency.
